The Existing Conditions Report consists of eight different sections analyzing the current state of Bowie-Mitchellville and Vicinity. The eight sections of the Existing Conditions Report including Demographic and Economic Profile, Housing and Neighborhoods, Commercial Market Profile, Land Use, Zoning, and Urban Form, Transportation Mobility, Community Heritage, Culture, and Design, Healthy Communities, and Public Facilities. Public input on the Draft Existing Conditions Report is vital to ensure the latest Bowie-Mitchellville and Vicinity Master Plan accurately addresses the community's needs.

The Prince George’s County Planning Department greatly appreciates your feedback and comments, which will be reviewed and considered during the drafting of the master plan. Our next step is to present a Playbook of Design Strategies which will include urban design schemes to help meet the challenges and opportunities at several key nodes in the plan area.
